What is a “Disney Travel Planner” and how can I help?

I get this question a lot. I have friends who love to plan their own Disney Vacations. I have other friends who break out in hives thinking about planning a Disney Vacation. As a Disney Travel planner, my job is to help both types of friends (and anyone in between) have their dream vacation. Keep reading to find out what I do and how I can help you!

What is a Disney Travel Planner?

A Disney Travel Planner is paid by Disney to help you plan your Disney Vacation. We can help you with Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and other Disney Destinations.

Storybook World Travel is an Authorized Disney Vacation Agency and also EarMarked. This means that Disney gives us the thumbs up to sell their products and acknowledges that we do it frequently, and that we do it well.  Would you want to trust your vacation dollars to anyone who DIDN’T?

How can a Disney Travel Planner help?

We work for YOU!  We have your best interest at heart. We want YOU to have the most magical trip. We will keep an eye out for new promotions that will save you and your family money. We will work with you to find the best dates, resorts, dining plans and extras for your family. We won’t talk you into adding a dining plan, memory maker or anything else if it doesn’t work for your needs. You’ll get real answers with real opinions. We’ll give you an honest review of restaurants, dining plans, etc. We’ll give you tips on how to stretch dining plan credits and using the Rider Switch to your advantage.

We can plan your entire trip. Does Disney completely and totally overwhelm you? You’re not alone. It overwhelms a lot of people. The last thing we want is for you to step foot at Disney World, Disneyland or a Disney Cruise feeling overwhelmed and defeated. We want you to have that magical trip everyone talks about. That’s why you should find a Disney Travel Planner who will talk with you over the phone and find out what your needs/wants/wishes are for your Disney trip. We will find the best prices for your family’s vacation. We’ll make your dining reservations for you. We’ll walk you through making your fast pass reservations. We’ll do everything we can to make the planning process simple and easy. We’ll even send you tip sheets and will be a phone call (or text) away while you’re at Disney.

You can plan your trip. If you’re like me and you love planning trips, you are probably thinking you don’t need a Disney Travel Planner. You’d be missing out. When you’re ready to book, let your Disney Travel Planner know when and where you’d like to stay, we’ll book your trip and then you can do the rest. You can book your dining and fast passes all on your own. We’ll be here to make sure if a new promotion comes out, you get it. We’ll be here to get that coveted meet & greet or character meal if you just can’t find it. We’ll be here to make sure you know what refurbishments are happening or if there’s a special event happening at the parks you need to be aware of (RunDisney, AfterHours, Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party, Early Morning Magic, etc). We will be your secret weapon in planning a MAGICAL vacation.

You’ll always get the best price. It’s no secret that Disney is expensive. I won’t pretend it isn’t. I will, however, work to make sure you always have the best price available. If you book your trip but a few months down the road a new promotion is announced. You don’t need to call Disney; your Travel Planner will call Disney and change your reservations for you. We’ll help you plan your trip in a way that will save you as much money as possible. We’ll let you know if the Dining Plan is something that will help your family or if it won’t be a good deal for you. We’ll talk you through other extras like Park Hopper and Memory Maker. If we don’t think you need it, we won’t try to sell it to you.

There are lots of other reasons to book with a planner as well, but here’s the one you’ve been waiting for. It is 100% free.  What? How does that work?  Surveys show that guests who have a planner working with them have a better experience than those who book their trips independently.  Disney pays us to help you because they know this and they know that great experiences will have you coming back for more.  There is a commission built into all package and ticket prices whether you book through us, or book on your own.  When you book with us, Disney pays us that commission for offering you personal planning assistance.   When you book on your own, Disney keeps the additional money but provides little to no guidance.
